Tahini Cardamom Peach Crisp

This easy peach crisp layers seasonal Colorado peaches with a crumbly, slightly sweet mixture of rolled oats and warm spices. It’s wholesome enough for breakfast plates but still feels like a treat when topped with a scoop of vanilla ice cream. Tahini and cardamom add a unique twist!

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  2. Grease a 10″ cast iron skillet (affiliate) (or 9×7 baking dish) and set aside.
  3. In a large bowl, toss peaches with 1/4 cup of the brown sugar and cornstarch.
  4. In a medium bowl mix oats, flour, salt and spices. Add tahini and butter, then use a fork (or your hands) to work into the dry mixture until crumbly.
  5. Transfer peaches to the skillet and top with crumbly oat mixture.
  6. Bake 35-40 minutes or until topping is browned and peaches are bubbling.
